Nick Goryachev, an Associate at Oak HC/FT, joined the firm in 2022 and focuses on growth equity and early-stage venture opportunities in crypto.
Prior to joining Oak HC/FT, Nick spent two years at Galaxy Digital in New York, where he was responsible for global client coverage and execution across advisory, M&A and capital raising as well as analyzing strategic investment opportunities. Prior to that, Nick was on the US Growth team at The Carlyle Group.
Nick graduated from James Madison University in Virginia where he studied finance.

Fintech is hard. Startups face intense competition, regulation, and legacy tech. But technical paradigm shifts from AI could level parts of the playing field. Newer businesses can use AI to enhance their workflows, speed up delivery of services, and serve financial institutions with no-code or low-code tools. All of this will need to preserve user privacy and respect data ownership, but there's a meaningful prize for founders who solve those problems.
